Feedback and Reflection
After having a 1:1 with Emily I received some good constructive feedback on how to improve my presentation layout and quality of images from the co-design workshop. This gave me confidence in my project and presentation. Some flaws I knew I needed to work on was the accuracy of my perspective renders. I should consider the renders of the vines on the arcade and pull them back to show the trellis structure better. I know that my current renders would more accurately convey the plants years after they were planted planting when the vines become really dense and overgrown. This may be a desired affect I wish to show in my project however I need to consider the duration of my intervention and if it is going to stay in Fort Lane permanently. This week I am focusing on refining my presentation to have a more consistent visual aesthetic and provide clarity in the images and format. In addition I will need to craft a better relation to site and create detailed drawings of construction and measurements. My concept has been refined quite clearly and has been closely thought-out, with a variety of inspiration from architects, painters and installation artists, so it will be the attention to detail in my project which needs to be covered for a well thought-out design.
